The excellent team working in the Spanish School in Buenos Aires helped me a lot!!! The School staff is really dynamic and enthusiastic.
Buenos Aires is a big modern metropolitan city with a population of eleven million inhabitants. The main tourist attractions are the wide avenues, the beautiful squares, the nightlife and the excellent restaurants, shops and commercial centers. This cosmopolitan city reflects a mix of European influence, alongside with local and cultural elements. Tango is probably the best way to describe Buenos Aires’ spirit. It is danced in parks, squares, and ballrooms.
Located by the Rio de la Plata, the city enjoys mild weather with average temperatures of 18ºC. (64ºF). Seasons are well differentiated: July is the coldest month and January records the highest temperatures.
Buenos Aires is well-equipped with high frequency of public transport: buses, subway and taxis.
COINED Buenos Aires Spanish School is located in one of the most valued historic buildings of Buenos Aires, "Palacio San Miguel," on the famous corner of Bartolomé Mitre and Suipacha, where much of the nineteenth century architecture still survives
The Spanish school is close to the main tourist attractions and areas of interest: a few blocks from the Obelisco and the magnificent building of the National Congress. Transport is very convenient and within easy access. All metro lines in Buenos Aires have a stop just five minutes away from the school.
Our school has adopted the modern learning concept of cultural immersion for the development of study abroad programs, thus it offers the option of staying with a host family, local and international students, either shared flats or student residences, where you can practice and improve your language skills outside the classroom, whilst at the same time experiencing local lifestyle.
